Rodrigo Buldrini, born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1977.

I have a degree in Advertising and Propaganda from Universidade Bandeirantes de São Paulo (1998) and specialized in Graphic Design from Escola Panamericana de Arte e Design (2005).

Among other courses, I took courses in New Product Management and Launch, Art Direction, and Winning Branding at ESPM (Escola de Propaganda e Marketing, 2006, 2013, and 2015), Professional People Management (Amana Key, 2012), and Illustration and Sketching (Ecktor and Roco, 2000).

Work Experience

Currently, I am the director of the Creation Studio at Editora Globo, overseeing the art departments of the brands Época Negócios, Pequenas Empresas & Grandes Negócios, Globo Rural, Auto Esporte, and Um Só Planeta. Previously, I held the position of art director for the Época Negócios brand at Editora Globo, where I coordinated the art for the print (magazine and specials) and digital (tablet, mobile, video, podcast, and online projects) since 2011. I started at Época Negócios in August 2009 as an art editor.

Before that, I spent two years in Portugal, specifically in Funchal (Madeira), where I worked as the Executive Art Editor for Diário de Notícias – Madeira. I participated in the creation and implementation of the newspaper’s new graphic and editorial project, which resulted in several editorial design awards in Europe.

Previously, in Brazil, I worked at Folha de São Paulo (1999 to 2007), in the Magazine Department of Folha, initially as a Designer for Guia da Folha and Revista da Folha, and in the last two years as the Art Editor of Guia da Folha. During this period, I worked on two graphic projects for Guia da Folha and numerous other specials for the Magazine Department.

At the beginning of my career (1992 to 1997), I worked as a Production Assistant and Designer at the advertising photography studio J.C. Buldrini, and shortly after, I worked as a freelancer in advertising agencies such as Cia. de Idéias and Kisar & Dias.
